Godfrey Thamaga Chaane
Founding Member
Godfrey Thamaga Chaane founded GT Chaane Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers CC in 2000 to perform consulting activities in the fields of quantity surveying and project management. He started his academic career at the University of the North West, where he obtained a BSc. Education in 1990. After having discovered that his passion lies in the built environment, he enrolled for a BSc. Quantity Surveying at the University of the Witwatersrand, which he obtained in 1996. He rounded off his professional qualifications with an MSc. Project Management at the University of Pretoria in 2000.
In addition to being registered with the South African Council for the Quantity Surveying Profession (SACQSP) as a quantity surveyor, Godfrey is also a registered professional with the South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP). He was nominated President of the SACQSP for the 2009-2013 term and was a Council member of the Council for the Built Environment (CBE). In addition, he is a member of the Association of South African Quantity Surveyors (ASAQS) and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

Onkabetse Chaane-Moiloa
Executive Member
Onkabetse Chaane is a registered Quantity Surveyor with the South African Council for the Quantity Surveying Profession (SACQSP). Onkabetse started her academic career at the University of Pretoria and boasts a BSc. Quantity Surveying degree as well as a BSc. Quantity Surveying Honours degree. She is currently pursuing a MSc. Quantity Surveying degree specializing in Green Buildings. She is an As Built Green Building consultant, qualified through the Green Building Council of South Africa in 2016 (GBCSA).
During her career in Quantity Surveying, she has been involved in numerous projects ranging from R9 million to R1.1 billion, some of which are currently in the construction phase. Her exposure has included business strategy development to reposition and rebrand a well experienced Quantity Surveying and Project Management organisation in order to pioneer growth opportunities and administer sustainable building principles.
